The heat of summer is upon us. my lettuces wilt, simper and sag, but the hot flowers of summer soak up the sun, bright faces upturned. july in the garden and the zinneas, marigolds, nasturtiums, holly hocks, bee balm, yarrow, sunflowers... all rejoice. Oh, but to be so energetic!
